Who We Are:
The La Junta Municipal Court interprets the laws of the City of La Junta including traffic, misdemeanor crimes, and code violations. La Junta's Municipal Court is a part-time court, which meets every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Municipal Building. Court sessions are open to the public; the courtroom is handicap accessible. Between court dates the Court Clerk is available to answer procedural questions, but cannot give legal advice.
Office Hours: Monday - Thursday 8 - 12 & 1 - 4
Friday: 8-12 & 1-4
If the Court Clerk's Office is closed, payments may be left in the information office across the hall or in the City Clerk's office. If you are unable to attend a court date contact the Court Clerk's office immediately.
